National Family Development Institute
The purpose of the National Family Development Institute is to improve the quality of life for children and families by providing academic, enrichment, character development and cultural programs. The services provided include but are not limited to academic enrichment, mentoring, parenting skills, job training/entrepreneurial skills, and computer training.  Since its inception, the National Family Development Institute (NFDI) has provided mentoring, parenting enrichment activities, entrepreneurial training, computer training and academic enrichment to children, schools, families and community members/organizations. This partnership implements programs at a myriad of schools, school districts and organizations. 

The National Family Development Institute publishes the parenting magazine, MODERN PARENTS Magazine. The mission of MODERN PARENTS Magazine is to connect home and school (www.modernparentsmagazine.com). This publication provides valuable research, strategies and techniques to parents, schools and school districts.
